Workshop
Tuesday, 7 July 2026, 10 am - 3 pm
Wild Duck 7th July, First in our series of very special workshops for nature lovers with Andrea, our resident beekeeper, forager and wine expert. Join us for an introduction to beekeeping and honey making on 7th July. This will include an apiary visit, honey tasting, lunch and even honey cocktail making. The day starts at the Wild Duck with a talk from Andrea, who will give a brief introduction to bees and beekeeping. You’ll have a chance to sample honey directly from the comb. You will then be taken to the apiary to watch the bees at work. We will provide you with protective equipment (but it is essential you have long sleeves and long trousers). After the visit, the group will be guided through cocktail making with our foraging cocktail expert, Guy, and then a 2-course lunch in our garden room. There’ll also be your very own small jar of honey to take home with you.
