1. Scope
These terms govern your use of Oxford Compass, including event listings, venue pages, newsletter content, and event submission features.
2. Information Accuracy
Event information is provided on an as-is basis. Listings may change, be cancelled, or contain errors. You should always confirm key details (time, venue, price, accessibility, age restrictions) with the organiser or venue before attending.
3. Data Sources
Listings may be sourced from venue websites, public event pages, emails, and community submissions. Inclusion of an event or venue does not imply endorsement.
4. Venue Removal and Corrections
Venue operators can request corrections or removal of listings. We target processing valid venue removal requests within 24 hours.

5. Submissions and User Content
Submission forms are provided for community use. We apply basic validation and spam filtering, but we do not provide broad user-generated content moderation beyond abuse and operational safeguards.
You are responsible for ensuring submitted information is lawful and accurate.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Oxford Compass is not liable for losses arising from:
- event cancellations,
- venue changes,
- incorrect listing details,
- third-party websites or ticketing pages.
This does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
7. Service Changes
We may update or discontinue features at any time to improve service quality, reliability, or legal compliance.
