For HiVis fortnight we’re celebrating accessibility in Bampton Library. Every hour, another person in the UK goes blind; and around 2 million people in the UK are living with sight loss, and estimates suggest that this number could double by 2050. Therefore, it is very important that we reach out to those in the community who could benefit from libraries’ range of content and activities. During HiVis fortnight Bampton Library aims to highlight services and support for those with a vision impairment Come to our Special Event Saturday 13th June Free to drop in and family friendly Come and speak to Lara from the RNIB who will be showcasing a variety of hands on products and accessibility formats for reading, learning, and living well with sight loss!
