Poetry thrums through the Bible, and through the streets and halls of Oxford today; at Mansfield, John Milton and John Bunyan appear poised to speak from high on the Quad walls. What would they tell us – or Maya Angelou, or RS Thomas – if we paused to listen? Join Chapel this term to hear a diverse selection of thinkers, leaders, and poetry lovers on texts that inspire them. If you’re a student with a spiritual angle of any kind to your poetry, send it to the Chaplain! This term we also welcome Cardinal Timothy Radcliffe OP at a special service on ecumenical relations. Services are held at 18:15 on Wednesdays during term time and are open to the public .
