Join Artist-Teacher Helen Edwards for an art session inspired by the MGA exhibition at the Museum. This whole day workshop will offer the opportunity to unleash your creativity and create your own MG poster by combining techniques in dry-point etching and watercolour in the same colour palette of the time. COST – £60 (all materials included) Location: Kempster Room (Museum Basement) Time: to (lunch break around ) Booking essential – only 10 places available Please book your place at the Museum Reception or alternatively click here (booking fee applies to online purchases) Helen J S Edwards studied BA Fine Art and later completed an MA in Artist-Teacher Practice at Oxford Brookes University. She has a PGCE in Secondary Art Craft and Design. With over 25 years’ of experience, she has taught in nursery, primary and secondary schools. She continues to tutor adults and children privately, and runs regular art courses and workshops at the Ashmolean Museum and other local arts establishments. Helen specialises in and can be commissioned for drawing, painting and printmaking. Her artwork focuses on a fusion between eastern and western cultures, influenced by her international upbringing. Helen exhibits during Artweeks and in-and-around Oxford.
